Chaka Khan

Chaka, or Queen of Funk as she is also called is an American record producer. In her career, which has been spanning more than five decades, she has been awarded a total of 10 Grammys. The Grammy winner was also named as the 65th highest-performing dancer of all time according to Billboard magazine. Her grandmother introduced her to jazz while she was an infant. In the early years of her career, she performed in various band. As time went on, she became a member of a band called Rufus. She released her first album with the band at the twenty-year mark. The group won their first Grammy award a year later. The singer released her debut self-titled album in the years that followed her debut solo album. The following years, she's released other albums, including "Echoes from an Era", "The Woman I Am" and one song dubbed 'Funk This". Alongside her music acts, her charitable efforts has gained her a lot of recognition. Chaka Khan Foundation was established to help children from poor families as well as those who have autism. Khan is also a frequent actor. She was her sister Carrie, from the show "Mama I'm adamant to Sing." Chaka Chaka Chaka
